The Simon Community CEO, Lorraine McGrath, delivered a presentation to the JCP District Leadership Team resulting in further engagement with senior leaders across DWP. A Task & Finish Group was established to deliver: A greater understanding of proof of ID for Service Users DWP presentations to Simon Community staff on UC, Claimant Commitment, Sanctions PIP and ESA. Visits being arranged and co-ordinated for Simon Community staff to jobshadow DWP JCP staff

4. 4 Department for Work & Pensions DWP Partnership 3 – Homeless Action Scotland Delivery of 4 regional workshops to key organisation working with homeless Focus on Claimant Commitment, Conditionality and Sanctions Regular communications and support provided Next steps: HAS to deliver awareness sessions to JCP sites Establish a directory of all Homeless provision to support further engagement DWP to produce myth busters
