Understanding your Leadership Level Understand you are not on same level for everyone you lead Question is how you come to Know?

15 Levels of leadership Take the names of people you lead (Immediate)
Put their name down Ask yourself simple question – what level I am on with that person Do your best to put the number out there After you know what level of leadership your at with them, then you know how to lead them.

16 Levels of leadership Because the not everyone you lead will see you based upon who you are as a person or leader They see you to the five levels grid The person at level 1 will see you different than the person at level 4 The commitment level will be higher as you go higher

18 Final thought "Just as the diamond requires three properties for its formation— carbon, heat, and pressure—successful leaders require the interaction of three properties—character, knowledge, and application (BE- KNOW-DO). Like carbon to the diamond, character is the basic quality of the leader But as carbon alone does not create a diamond, neither can character alone create a leader. The diamond needs heat. Man needs knowledge, study and preparation The third property, pressure—acting in conjunction with carbon and heat—forms the diamond. Similarly, one’s character attended by knowledge, blooms through application to produce a leader“. - GEN Edward C. Meyer
