7 Incident Commander Duties
Evaluate Damage Maintain COMMS with subordinate commands & coordinate responses Decide on proper response to requests for assistance from other agencies Establish & patrol limited access areas, regulated navigation areas Prepare for the possibility of aftershocks Evaluate damage, oversee reconstruction activities Conduct oversight of all MTSR operations Determine schedule for stand-down from implementation Conduct demobilization and return units to normal operating status

Facilitate system stabilization and short-term recovery during the response phase of incident management (notionally < 90 days) Assist in the transition from short-term recovery to long-term recovery efforts perform by others Support long-term recovery through steady-state activities, and maintain domestic maritime commerce and global supply chain security Priorities (SAR / Pollution Response / MTS) MTSR plan part of the AMSP
