9. Algebra Prognosis and Geometry Tests are part of the process that identifies students who are ready to accelerate in the North Penn’s math curriculum sequence. The study of Algebra 1 in 7 th grade is a two year advancement course. The results of this testing (with other criteria) will help teachers recommend the appropriate math placement for incoming 7 th graders.
