Forest Monitoring and Assessment Broad system to monitor forest cover, carbon stocks, illegal logging New radar based remote sensing Information accessible to a wide range of agencies Improve decision making on land use in Indonesia Can incorporate fire monitoring systems

Fire monitoring in forest monitoring and assessment Important to integrate into a broader monitoring and assessment system Information can be used by many agencies at all levels Consistent systems for easy use Improved decision making on land use Interagency collaboration will be required
