All species must appear on the list of approved trees. No Exceptions.

Suggestions Make your collection as neat and attractive as possible. A photo album or three ring binder may be used to hold your collection. Pick leaves of “common” trees. Grading This project is worth 150 points. Grades will be determined as follows: 60 points for the correct identification of common names. Alternate Leaves The leaves are attached to the branch one to a side, alternating from one side to the other.

Opposite Leaves Leaves are attached to opposite sides of the branch at the same place along the branch.
