Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center 8 Why did we choose iLab as our LMS iLab is a leading vendor that serves over 1,000 core facilities across more than 100 research institutions in eleven countries, including 40 of the top 50 recipients of NIH funding. Over the past 4 years of investigating various options for a LMS, iLab and the associated Vanderbilt CORES systems, always topped the list –they have merged iLab is already installed for WFIRM core labs and is working well to meet their needs

9. Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center 9 Overview of Implementation Plan The implementation of this product will begin in August, and will be active throughout the fiscal year. The Shared Resource/Core laboratories will be integrated in phases. Since the WFIRM core labs are already using the software, the first step will be adding the front-end authentication software and the back-end interface with PeopleSoft Financials for their labs, while we start preparing the first phase of new labs for implementation. Budget for the iLab LMS will be paid through ITS
