Semi-Conductors: Partial Insulator/ Partial Conductor EX: These are used in the computer industry to produce component parts (such as chips) Super-Conductors: Can allow electrical current to flow freely WITHOUT ANY ENERGY LOSS EX: Boron and Cadmium metal rods used in the process of nuclear fission
