POLITICAL IDEAL Democracy is his political ideal. Let every man be respected as an individual and no man idolized. Passionately opposed to the political systems in contemporary Italy and Russia. Italy had fascism under Mussolini and in Russia, Stalin had his authoritative version of communism.

VIEWS ABOUT WAR War is a mean and contemptible thing and believes that this evil would have disappeared long ago, had the sound sense of the nations not been systematically corrupted by commercial and political interests acting through the schools and the Press. I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.

BIDDING FAREWELL TO LIFE Einstein died on 18 April 1955 in Princeton, USA. Refused surgery saying: “I want to go when I want. It is tasteless to prolong life artificially. I have done my share, it is time to go. I will do it elegantly”.
