Many of the 2009 MUTCD Compliance Dates have been revised or eliminated, however, the compliance date for Horizontal Alignment Signing remains in place. MUTCD Compliance Date – December 31, 2019

Current Status Contracts with all consultants have been authorized 11/26/2012 Horizontal Alignment Signing / Ball Bank Training Class (1 st scheduled for December 18, 2012) “Boots on the ground” starting near the first of the year

Next Steps Review initial corridor submissions from each consultant Meet with the Districts to discuss implementation through the Construction Procurement process (inspection, quality control, etc.) Let construction contract(s) for several corridors to ensure the quality of the end product Adjust the process as necessary for implementation and complete Phase 1 and Phase 2.
