2. Itinerary: Friday Load up bus. Busbag/flashlight/happybag:Overnight/buil ding/food:Ski/board gear Drive to Bellingham/food shop…. Friday’s dinner (hot water)/lunch/lunch. Bring your own shopping bag (with your name on it.) Arrive/unload…. Food to cage, house shoes/slippers, outerwear put neatly in drying room, sign in/up, get bunk, help.

3. Put all food in “cage.”

4. Hang up your boots/shoes.

5. Outerwear goes neatly in the “Drying Room.”

6. Sign in and sign up for a workjob.

7. Put gear on/under your bunk.

8. Help out!

9. Itinerary: Saturday 7:30 AM Breakfast…. Don’t be late. Meeting afterwards (avoid B’fast clean-up workjob). Build/eat/hydrate/build. In the lodge before dark. 6:00 PM dinner 9:00 PM in snow shelters

15. Itinerary: Sunday 7:30 AM Breakfast (Really, don’t be late.) Meeting after breakfast. Work-jobs. Pack up gear for the day. Ski area: in bounds/with partner(s). Snowshoe/X-C ski non avalanche route. 4:00 Check-in back at lodge (in time for work-jobs, before dark.)

16. Itinerary: Monday 7:30 AM Breakfast (Really, don’t be late.) Meeting after breakfast. Workjobs/dismantle shelters. Check lost & found, drying room, food cage. Pack up gear/empty lodge/load bus. Depart.

17. How to be… Representing NWS. “Target” Keep your stuff neat. (Your bunk is the best/only place to put stuff.) Food in “cage.” Drying room care. Use slippers/shoes. Snowy boots stay downstairs. Sign in on Lodge Roster. Sign up for workjobs. (try to avoid breakfast clean-up).

18. How do you feel about doing some yucky job/chore/task? “I would be delighted.” (Said with sincerity.)

19. Basic Safety Rules Always be in sight of lodge/bus. Respect single gender areas. Be inside lodge 15 minutes before meals. (7:30 Breakfast, 6:00 Dinner.) Ski/board with partner(s) from NWS. Ski/board only inside the ski area boundaries.

20. All snow shelters must have… Wands around perimeter. Domed roof. Smooth roof. Tarp on floor. Vent hole. Sleep area higher than doorway.
