Survey Results Series 1: The computer setup in the library is functional. Series 2: The book shelves are arranged in such a way that it is easy to navigate and find books. Elements Of Design Line: Horizontal lines (calming) –boarder around ceiling (sound barrier) Vertical lines (creates height) - columns around arc Form: Chairs, tables, everything Realistic/geometric form throughout library Space: No concentration on space in the LMC Concentrate on codes/ regulations to create space consciousness

Element of Design Cont. Mass: Low mass; no pattern and no clutter Furnishings are literal and straight to the point Texture: Textures throughout LMC are tactile -minimal use of textures used Color: White- fresh /pure/ sterile Blue- cool/tranquil Maroon- danger/drama
