What Do You Do?!?! As we go through the diagram showing how a microscope works, draw the pictures and write the notes down on your paper.

Stage Light moves through the condenser in the stage. 2.The objective lens is a convex lens, which causes light to bend! 4. Mirrors reflect the same image from the objective lens up the tube! 3.When light rays cross the FOCAL POINT, the image is flipped. 5. Microscope eyepiece. This is also a convex lens, but the image reaches our eyes before the focal point, so the image doesn’t flip after this lens. 6. Eyeball (lens). This is a convex lens, so it flips the image! 7.The optic nerve sends the image to the brain, where the image is turned upside down to correct the flipped image from the eye’s lens!
