1 Volunteer Stream Monitoring Pilot Program Details -Seven local stream segments -Four monitoring groups -Four named streams; one unnamed tributary -Mandatory training and optional refresher Required Volunteer Commitment -Stream Walkers: Complete Habitat Assessment once per year and visual assessments at least quarterly, record temperature and specific conductivity and pick up trash. -Stream Team Monitors: In addition to duties for Stream Walkers, Stream Team Monitors test for nitrate, phosphorus, dissolved oxygen, biological oxygen demand, pH, turbidity and fecal coliform bacteria)
