The incontrovertible facts and a menu of recommendations are here in this outstanding book. In the last three months, an independent commission, a Home Office Select Committee, an inquiry by cross-bench peers in the House of Lords and a top police chief have recommended new approaches to dealing with the UK's drug problem. The British Medical Association's report adds to the growing consensus across public life that we must take a fresh approach to drug policy in the UK Talkingdrugs.org (21.1.13)
