3. The Early Stages of A Dogs Life Dogs take two months to be born. After two months they mature.There are six puppies in a litter. During the first ten days puppies are blind and deaf.Puppies drink their mothers milk. They eat meat, cereal,and, vegetables. Puppies need to take a walk and run. They also need fresh water to drink,so they can cool off. Puppies use bones to clean their teeth.The bones are like a toothbrush.

4. What Puppies Learn Puppies learn thousands of new things everyday, even when they play. Puppies need to be in contact with their mothers for protection. As the days pass,puppies learn to do many other things. If a puppy wants to call it’s mother, it will howl or whine.

5. Healthy Dogs As a healthy dog grows older,it will slow down it’s activity a little bit. They may need more sleep. Dogs need to go out more because of their kidneys. They start to weaken. As the dog gets older,its joints get sore, so it moves around more slowly. Older dogs feel really bad when they are not near their families. Dogs are wonderful pets and should be well taken care of.
