Introduction Treatment of breast cancer affects quality of life Residual pain (arm, shoulder, scapula) – in 30-50% of patients

The problem Problem –Tissue damage –Exudative and degenerative processes Therapeutic approach: –Drainage to eliminate those elements which block the defence system and prevent natural healing NSAIDS are not the answer

Treatment Medication –Biopuncture –Traumeel amps.(2.2 ml) –Procaine 2% (5 ml) Site of injection –Chinese acupuncture points Frequency –Once a week

Design of the study Inclusion criteria –Only those patients who completed at least twelve months of conventional pain treatment after chemo- or radio-therapy WITHOUT resolution of their pain syndrome Questionaire Before treatmentAfter treatment Traumeel + Procaine 6 months
