1. Crosby vs. Ovechkin Trevor O. Duxbury High School

2. There were two college roommates who were best friends and on the same college hockey team.

3. Then they were drafted to the NHL, to two rivalry teams. Ovechkin was drafted to the Washington Capitals.

4. Crosby was drafted to the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Pittsburgh Penguins and the Washington Capitals were two rival teams and still are today.

5. Ovechkin had a friend on the Capitals and his name was Backstrom.

6. Backstrom did not like that Ovechkin and Crosby were friends so he had to make it stop. He broke up their friendship.

7. Then Ovechkin and Crosby were not best friends anymore and they were rivals on two rival teams.

8. Crosby got traded to another team in the NHL and that team was the Washington Capitals.

9. Ovechkin and Crosby had to work things out because they were now on the same team.

10. Ovechkin finally went to Crosby and said “Hey Crosby, we have to work this friendship out if we are going to be on the same team”, and Crosby said “Yeah we should.”
