2. DECA’s Competitive Events Program As a DECA member, you have a chance to move your classroom learning onto a bigger stage as you demonstrate your skills through competitive events.

3. So what’s in it for you? TRAVEL to local, state/province and international conferences – At local/district/regional competition you get your feet wet as you represent yourself and your DECA chapter close to home. 4. Travel (cont.) –If you qualify for state/provincial competition, you travel to the competition site and try your hand at the next level. Travel (cont.) –At the International Career Development Conference (ICDC), the final stage of competition, qualifiers travel to a major city and join in activities that bring together 14,000 students, advisors, and businesspeople.
