Lego WeDo and EV3 Lucas: WeDo and EV3 – How they are different Tyler: Smart Brick (Brain) of the program Lucas: Drag and Drop Program (Block by Block programming) Tyler: Sensors – Different types (Let’s see the WeDo and EV3!) WeDo: How it moves using the program and how it uses a sensor. EV3: How it moves using the program, how the motors and sensors work and make it turn, how the arms can move

What I Like About EV3 and WeDo Tyler – Gives me the chance to think about what needs to be done and how I’m going to do it. We work together as a team. It’s fun to give the robot life. Lucas – It’s really fun to try the challenges, and get to do some programming. It is fun to have a purpose for the programming.
15
What We Learn From EV3 and WeDo Tyler – When it comes to problem solving, sometimes you have to look at things from a different perspective. That can help us to solve the problem or challenge. Lucas - If a program doesn’t work the first time, you don’t give up. You have to stop and look at the program and the robot and keep trying different things.
16
Now That It Is Coming To Rowan…. Lucas – I’m so excited because now everyone at Rowan will get to try this out and they’ll love it. This is so much better than websites like Code.org because this gives us something real to learn from. Tyler – This could be a great way to practice helping others. I think it will help students learn how to look at things from a different perspectives. Programming is good for everyone to learn because it could help them get into a good college and a great job.
