Media Center Rules Follow directions the first time given Talk softly to avoid bothering others Use the library to read, study, browse and learn Pillows, cushions, and beanbags are reserved for readers The steps are for reading and listening only Walk at all times

Always use Mr., Mrs., Miss, or Ms. when speaking to or about an adult at school. “Yes ma’am” or “No sir” is also acceptable. Always say “please” when you request something and “thank you” when you receive something. Make eye contact when you are speaking to someone or being spoken to by someone. Always be honest, no matter what happens. Classroom rules are the same when a substitute teacher is here. Homework will be turned in everyday. Always clean up after yourself ---this includes the cafeteria, classrooms, and restrooms. Walk in single file lines with arms to your sides when in the halls. Leave space between you and the person ahead and do not talk. Be the best person you can be. Be positive and make good choices. Flush the toilet and wash your hands when finished in the restroom. Do not show disrespect with gestures or speech --- rolling eyes, making faces, or “whatever!” TZ 12
