Types of reactions There are several general types of reactions, the ones you need to be familiar with are: –Combination –Decomposition –Single Replacement –Double Replacement –Combustion

Combination Reaction 2 or more reactants form one product

Decomposition Reaction One reactant yields 2 or more products H 2 CO 3 → H 2 O + CO 2
