Our Land Council All of our LALCs are actively involved across a wide range of activities that are helping to improve our sustainability and outcomes for the community in which we are located

Our Land Council For us in the Western Region, it’s about, o building internal capacity, o engaging our members and community, o ensuring they are a central part of the Land Rights narrative now and into the future

Our Mob Today in our Region we have seen some change; o Increase in younger Board members within the 25yrs – 30yrs age bracket who are learning from our elders o Improved skill level of our CEO’s o Development of Community Benefit Schemes o More involved in working for the greater benefit of the whole community o Recognition of Native Title and the importance of working together

Our Future Our LALCs are doing some great things in partnerships to hopefully make a difference to the outcomes for our members and communities Economic development and building viable and sustainable communities “What we have today is due to those who fought and marched for land rights some 30 years ago & what we do tomorrow is for those future generations to come – we need to leave them with a legacy on which to build their future.”
