Ploug, Danfoss A/SSlide 5 Present technologies We love 802.11 We look forward to 802.15.4 / ZigBee We see areas for Bluetooth Today we use proprietary technologies and are successful but not happy with all applications Do standards cover everything? No – that is why I am here We have applications with RF performance needs beyond present level

Ploug, Danfoss A/SSlide 8 Tests We have done extensively testing on RF technologies –Several narrowband and several frequencies –Several WLAN’s –802.15.4 –nanoNET Have performed the tests in various environments –Industrial, commercial and residential –Internally and externally –Covered most application environments

Ploug, Danfoss A/SSlide 13 Test headlines Existing technologies function very satisfactory for many applications There is clearly potential in linear FM as a spread spectrum technology Our tests show that performance is on the edge for “high end” applications with existing standard based technologies
