3. eText v4.5 Feature complete and in QA testing Release scheduled for February 4 th New features include: –New hotspot options (transparent and underline) –Data logging for analytics –New authoring features for Business Units Option to disable Android publishing iPad options (forced landscape and prevent 2-page view) New UI for PDF comparisons Auto Scaling of oversized PDFs for iPad Hex color selector –Support for Pearson branding with UI enhancements –Refreshed bookshelf appearance –S7 integration enhancements –S16 bookshelf support –Updated Flex framework Dropping support for PowerPC and Flash 10.1

7. eText for Android v1.1 Release estimated for end of February Feature complete and in QA testing System requirements: –Honeycomb (Android OS v3.1 or higher) –10” tablet screens e.g. Xoom and Galaxy Will start testing on 7” screens and ICS.MOV movies need to be converted to.m4v –Android doesn’t support.mov files –eText team has identified titles and BU owners –Use Pearson Video Prodn Services to convert –Details are available in eText NEO site https://neo.pearson.com/docs/DOC-64199

8. eText for Android App and Title Access Will be a free download from Android Market Three versions of App: –RUMBA, SMS, and eCollege All eText for iPad titles will be available for Android unless BU specifies otherwise –BU option to disable Android view (in eText v4.5) BUs will follow iPad production guidelines Using S15 integration scenario QA testing with School, HiEd, and INT’L titles now underway

9. eText for Android Features Similar features to eText for iPad –Page swipe navigation; pinch and zoom –Bookshelf –TOC and baskets –Notes, bookmarks, highlights –Full text search –Chapter download No Flash or.mov No study groups

10. Integration Updates S7 Enhancement –PSN implementation has moved to Dec 2012 –PSN+ still under discussion S16 –Added bookshelf support Portal –Has been put into maintenance mode; dropped S7 integration plans OLE –BTS integration scheduled; details yet to be determined
