3 4290 - 3 3 BACKGROUND Science of TM little understood outside of TM community Contribution of TM to economy of a nation hard to quantify No TM advocate at regional, world radio conferences Delegates at conferences have little knowledge of importance of telemetry TM spectrum regular candidate for reallocation due to attractive technical features

4 4290 - 4 4 PURPOSE To create forum for exchange of information on potential TM spectrum issues To better inform national, regional & international leaders of importance of telemetry to their economy & security To inform & invite open participation by all TM practitioners, including government, industry, academia and others To share information on use, research & development of new technologies for improving use of TM spectrum
