You bring us together to pray to our heavenly Father. Lord, have mercy. You are our guide. Christ have mercy Christ, have mercy. You show us how to love each other. Lord, have mercy.

Loving Father hear our prayers today and make our faith in you grow ever stronger as we do your holy will. We ask this in the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen

I wonder what you heard in the Gospel today. I wonder what the man wanted Jesus to tell him ? I wonder what Jesus reminded him to do ? What did Jesus promise in return for such commitment ?

Lord hear our prayer. The response is sung, Lord hear our prayer. We pray for the poor and homeless; May our loving care and concern enrich their lives. Lord hear our prayer. We pray for the people who feel rejected and alone; May a warm smile and a friendly word enrich their lonely lives. Lord hear our prayer. We pray for the people who believe that money alone can bring happiness; May their lives be enriched by discovering the joy of sharing. Lord hear our prayer. As brothers and sisters in one loving family, together let us pray to our heavenly Father:

Let us say this prayer together Loving Father, In your loving kindness hear our prayes, And help us to live as children of God Storing up treasure in heaven, As we build your precious kingdom of love. We make these prayers through Christ your Son. Amen
