2 Bell Work 9.1.2015 First, write your name on your stick note, then do the bell work on a separate sheet of paper. 1) Make a list of 3-5 words that describe you. 2) Make a list of 3-5 things you like to do after school. 3) Make a list of 3-5 things you enjoy about school. 4) What can you use to help tell a story?

3 Agenda O Bell Work O Get in your groups! O Share at your table O Rubric for the film O Writing a storyboard O Exit Pass

4 Pick One Person O Pick one person that you would like to work with O Note: Some advice from past film students is on the wall and many people suggest not working with your friends, but working with people that you know will actually get the work done(film, edit, etc.)

5 Index Card O With that one person put both your sticky note faces on an index card O Wait for instructions

6 Now… O Find one other pair and you have a group! O Everyone must be in groups of four(hopefully no more or less) O Be ready for your next set of instructions

7 How are you going to tell your story? O There are lots of ways to tell a story… O Think back to your bell work O Share ideas with the class

O Infuse your work…with you and change. O If you don’t know something about technology, oh well, ask! This is a class, hopefully you will learn something!

14 Exit Pass 9.1.2015 On the back of your bell work… 1) What is one thing that you enjoyed learning in class today? 2) What is one thing you look forward to next class? Next class we will start taking your brain storm notes and putting them in a storyboard

15 Productions O 2 events O FYI - Event opportunity 12 th of this month, filming some BL students at a soccer game, scholarship opportunity for some of our BL soccer players! O Announcements(edit, film, assistant editor) O What footage do we have now to edit? O Football game? Anything else? O How do we want to organize everything? O What do we want to do to ensure that every event get’s some footage/coverage? – check off list?
