11 Organized notebook  I have given specific instructions how to organize their notebook, modeled this, and I have a sample notebook in the classroom. I am still in the process of checking their notebooks this week for a listening grade to make sure they are ready for the year.  Their notebooks will be checked periodically. This week I will be teaching them how to head their papers with the MLA heading
