WISER: Workshops in Information Skills and Electronic Resources Italian Literature in OULS Oxford University Library Services Italian Literature Resources Research Collections Taylorian Bodleian Periodicals, monographs, manuscripts, bibliographies, legal deposit material, antiquarian material, etc. Teaching Collections Modern Languages Faculty Library Multiple copies of texts and important criticism, reading list material, short-loan photocopies, film adaptations, etc. Electronic Resources OxLip WWW Bibliographic databases, e-journals, reference works, digitization projects, scholarly websites, etc.

WISER: Workshops in Information Skills and Electronic Resources Finding books and journals To find an exact book or journal, search in OLIS by author or titleOLIS To research a topic more generally, search by subject: e.g. sw=dante virgil Extended subject searching: When you have found a record with a subject heading that matches your interest enter “E” for “Extend search”. This will display all the relevant books and journals.

WISER: Workshops in Information Skills and Electronic Resources E-journals Some journals are available electronically Can be accessed anytime, anywhere, searched and printed E-access doesn’t match print E-access usually highlighted in OLIS, e.g. Modern Languages Notes TDNet is a full list of e-journals and links to them TDNet e.g. Italian Studies
