Ministry’s Care and Support Agenda Enormous political will Act and Policy documents; Documents to enhance delivery of Guidance and Counselling/ and support being strengthened. Implementation structure from national to school level Motivated educators to implement Psychosocial Care and Support Care and Support on Teaching and Learning (CSTL) Agents of change initiative for learners Availability of training programmes in Guidance and Counselling: Diploma in Guidance, Counselling and Placement (GCP) Master of Art in in GCP & Master Science in Counselling Guidance and Counselling offered as a Course in Colleges of Education Launch of the Diploma in Psychosocial, Care Support and Protection.

Ministry’s role in Teachers’ Diploma in PSS Ministry has been part of the process since inception of the diploma course: Curriculum and Guidance and counselling specialists and academic staff involved in development of the course. Programme delivered at Chalimbana University, Chipata and Mongu Colleges of Education Oriented key stakeholders to ensure ownership and leadership of the programme: Implemented through the Ministry existing structures at Provincial, District, Zone and School levels. PSS incorporated into pre-service curriculum at ECE, Primary and Secondary levels.
