PHARMACIST JOB TITLES Dispense prescribed drugs. Provide information to patients about drugs and their uses. Advice physician on the selection, dosages, interaction and side effects of medicines Perform at high level possible More complex clinical management issues. More education& training through residency followed by residency in specific areas such as oncology neurology/ epilepsy management Prepare drugs in new forms. Mixing different strengths of tablets or capsules to yield desired strength indicated by physicians. Compound sterile I.V. products in hospitals.

A doctor’s degree in pharmacy {pharm.D.} No bachelor degree being offered. A pharm.D. is 4 years program. Pharmacy program must be accredited by ACPE. 2-3 years college study {pre-pharmacy program}. PCAT test before admitted to pharmacy program.

CLASSES NEEDED Pre-requisite: 1.Bachelor of Science Degree At least 2-year of pre-pharmacy courses. Pass the PCAT( Pharmacy College Admission Test). Attend pharmacy college.
