Negative numbers/Decimals On numbers with decimals just move the decimal to the left. Give the remaining power of 10 a negative number the number you have moved the decimal.

Remember that all decimals will have a negative exponent! Write in Scientific Notation or Standard Form: 0.98 = 9.8X10 -1 0.0058 = 5.8 x 10 -3 3.35 x 10 -1 = 0.335
