3 Vanderbilt University Medical Center Project Overview  System Upgrade from DOS to Windows platform  Will provide the capability to track more than 2000 beds, thus allowing use in Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.  Will provide trailer record detailing the Total Number of Transactions, QTY per Transaction, and Total QTY on the Charge Interface File, thus satisfying audit standards and automated validation. 7 Vanderbilt University Medical Center Concerns  Completion of Test Environment for Future Upgrades  The Windows Cbord application does not support tube feeds or oral supplements, only diet orders. It also does not contain a hold/review queue. Because of these limitations, we will now need to manually load Patient Nutrition Orders into the Cbord Database (instead of utilizing the WIZ interface).  Disaster Recovery Plan  Room Service Module go-live towards end of November - very close to Children’s Hospital go-live of Dec. 5 th. The risks have been addressed with Nutritional Services and they are aware and conscious of the situation. Page 7

8 Vanderbilt University Medical Center Next Steps  Work with Cbord to obtain a date for customization work to eliminate manual entry of orders.  Test Environment completed by September 15 th  Gain agreement and complete the Disaster Recovery Plan by September 19 th Page 8
