To integrate Land Parameter Retrieval Model (LPRM) soil moisture data into operational WAOB GLADSE. [seamless; customized] To integrate LPRM-enhanced EPIC (Environmental Policy Integrated Climate) crop model into WAOB GLADSE. [changes] To leverage existing GES DISC Web services to facilitate integration of project outputs into GLADSE. To evaluate and benchmark impacts of integration of project outputs on GLADSE forecasts. UWG May 11, 2011 Satellite data are complementary to weather station data, in identifying analog years. Results point to possibility of “calibrating” analog analysis methodology in station-rich areas, to be then applied in station-poor areas of the world. Retrospective analog analysis as metric seems feasible. Early Results
