The Suspects
9
Prince Albert Victor
10
More Prince Albert… Eddy was born in 1864 to Prince Albert Edward and Princess Alexandra. By most reports, Eddy was a "slow" child and grew up to be a rather dull adult. According to Stowell, Eddy was suffering from syphilis, contracted during a shore party in the West Indies, and that this infection drove Eddy insane and compelled him to commit the murders. His family agrees.
11
Montague John Druitt
12
More Montague… A graduate of Winchester College and an avid sportsman. Considered by many to be the number one suspect in the case. Interestingly enough, there is very little evidence with which to implicate his guilt. He committed Suicide Why kill himself?? Two prominent possibilities arise -- first, the aforementioned implications of his homosexuality. Still, only conjecture, but perhaps his vice was discovered and he couldn't bear the embarrassment?
13
Dr. Thomas Neill Cream
14
More Thomas Performed his own girlfriends abortion and nearly killed her. He killed women He was sentenced to life in Illinois State Penitentiary at Joliet. He was released on good behavior in 1891 He bragged about knowing more about the case then anyone … this is his only connection to the murders Although, he was in jail during the murders so he could not have committed them if you ask me
15
Frederick Bailey Deeming
16
More Frederick Unnaturally attached to his mother, when she died he was an emotional wreck Yet, he married and had four children He killed his family and remarried His links were his insanity and the fact that he killed his family
17

21
ANDREWS, Inspector Walter Born: 1847 1869: Joined Metropolitan Police CID December 1888: Sent from London to New York 1889: Retired
22
DEW, Walter In 1887 transferred to H Division (Whitechapel) In 1906 promoted to Chief Inspector Saw Mary Kelly’s body and said it was his most gruesome memory Thought Emma Smith was the first victim
23
My Theory I think that the real murderer was Joseph Barnett He was directly involved with Mary Jane Kelly The evidence against him makes the most sense
