Enforce implementation of the FP Act A single classification system for the country Classify not less than 50 000 films, DVDs, publications and games Reach out to not less than 30 million South Africans (directly and indirectly) Establish strategic partnerships with industry, government and NGO sector in SA, regionally and internationally. Train not less than 10 000 law enforcement Officers, social workers, child care workers and Life Skills orientation teachers. Roll out cyber safety education in schools – integration into the LO curriculum. Digitization of records Achieve 80% convergence ratings of our classification decisions 22

To guide and inform members of the public Protect children from exposure to undesirable content Raise awareness about the existence of the FPB and its mandate Empower those who work with children on issues related to child pornography Empower children on responsible use of new media technologies Leverage resources through strategic partnerships and collaborations 33

Implement the turnaround strategy, once approved Lobby for more resource allocation through grant Explore other revenue streams (sponsorships, partnerships, review tariff structure) Recruitment of new skills & retraining of staff Revamp and streamline work processes and systems in order to ensure efficiency.
