SHALLOW Depth of Field *Use largest aperture – smallest f/stop # *Shoot in the shade – NO SUN! *Get close – 1-2 feet away *Use the Rule of Thirds

OPTION #1 Take ALL Shallow DOF pics Concentrate on ONE object Use smallest aperture to make the rest of the photo out of focus

OPTION #2 Two photos of each subject ONE with SHALLOW DOF ONE with GREAT DOF

OPTION #3 Two photos of each subject ONE with SHALLOW DOF focused close to you ONE with SHALLOW DOF focused far from you

Use tripod or support if shutter speed is below 1/30 sec. Consider shooting both horizontal and vertical shots of each scene Check your focus- out of focus is not the same as Shallow DOF! TIPS
