3. Wireframe  Website wireframe - Visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website.  Created for arranging elements to accomplish a particular purpose. The purpose is usually motivated by a business objective and a creative idea.  The wireframe describes the page layout or arrangement of the website’s content, including interface elements and navigational systems, and how they work together.  The wireframe often lacks typographic style, color, or graphics, since the main focus lies in functionality, behavior, and priority of content

Wireframe  Wireframes focus on:  The range of functions available  The relative priorities of the information and functions  The rules for displaying certain kinds of information  The effect of different scenarios on the display.  Wireframing typically begins between high-level structural work (like flowcharts) and screen designs.  Aside from websites, wireframes are used for the mobile sites, computer applications, or other screen- based products that involve human-computer interaction.

5.  Wireframe:  Visual layout of a website  Determines where each component on a page will live.  Prototype:  A representation of the final user interface.  The goal of a prototype is to simulate the interaction between the user and the interface.  When a button is clicked, the appropriate action must occur, mimicking the experience of a full product.
