Objectives of the course “From Sensor Networks to the Cloud: an Introduction to Ubiquitous Multi- Scale Digital Eco-Systems”: what a strange title! “A Roadmap to Cloud-IoT”? “A Roadmap to IoT-Cloud”? The objective is not to compress into 1 course, 4 courses on sensor networks, Internet of Things, cloud computing, ubiquitous computing, and digital ecosystems! This course is based on two mottos the future of IT is in the “network” the “network” is an ecosystem – collaboration is the future of the network Objectives: draw a panorama of emerging information and communication technologies analyze issues raised and opportunities offered by these technologies and their integration highlight open technological and research questions Master Course, Lyon, 2015/2016 - Introduction
