Office of Research & Development R&D Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) Objective: To advance HSR Enabling Technologies - earlier deployment and benefits Funding: up to $25M Release date: July 28, 2010 (open until Sept 2012) Information: http://www.fra.dot.gov/rpd/policy/918.shtmlhttp://www.fra.dot.gov/rpd/policy/918.shtml Status (Sept. 2010): – Strong Industry response – Dozens of concepts received. – First awards are expected Fall 2010. – Often advising bidders to seek appropriate partners (States, Universities, US manufacturers) for earliest impact.
