4 Responsibilities Overall responsibility of country operations –Plan, develop, organize, supervise Co-operate with central office –Send reports Evaluations of national department –Provide analysis of the market (competitive situation, trends) Implement objectives and policies provided by the HQ Supervise facility managers Create and manage public relations –Government, investors, general public –Social responsibility Represent BPC in public events –Community activities

7 Responsibilities Support facility managers and assist national director Design local marketing strategy and campaigns Support implementation of marketing strategy Completion of market survey –Customer satisfaction

9 Planning and Building Managers

10 Responsibilities Define potential areas for new facilities Support facility managers Negotiate with local administrative body –Construction licenses Plan building processes Supervise building processes Find contractors for building and planning –Planning of heating, plumbing, ventilation and electrical installation –Configuration –Architecture –Actual construction work Prepare contracts Implement expansion of facilities

13 Responsibilities Implement operational plans Manage business negotiations for cost, service, processes, and contracts. Analyze budgets across multiple vendors Establish contacts with different companies Prepare contracts Develop and manage Partner relationships Monitor, measure, and continuously improve business performance goals for Outsourcing Department through tracking and reporting of performance metrics and externally benchmarking performance. Manage crises Work with facility manager to solve problems

14 Requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or equivalent experience. Must have at least 2 years previous outsourcing experience highly self-motivated Effectively and easily communicates with individuals at all organizational levels Openly and actively listens to others, clarifying information when necessary Provides accurate and well-organized verbal and written information Pursues creative solutions Recognizes inefficient or ineffective processes, and offers alternative solutions Recognizes others for successful ideas

16 Responsibilities Review and approve invoices for submission to accounts payable Review monthly financial reports, investigate unusual items, research and reclass as appropriate Create budgets for staff expenses such as messengers, supplies, telephone usage, etc. Work with national director to develop operating expense budgets Work with facility manager to solve problems

17 Requirements Five to ten years financial experience Strong analytical skills and knowledge of accounting Strong excel/spreadsheet skills Ability to manage multiple projects at a time MBA/CPA a plus Effectively and easily communicates with individuals at all organizational levels Openly and actively listens to others, clarifying information when necessary Provides accurate and well-organized verbal and written information Pursues creative solutions Recognizes inefficient or ineffective processes, and offers alternative solutions Recognizes others for successful ideas

19 Responsibilities Provide legal guidance in connection with the development and structuring of investment strategies and complex transactions. Advise internal clients (investment and operational leaders) on a broad array of sophisticated financial transactions - equity investments, debt acquisitions, derivatives and other strategic transactions. Provide counsel on the on-going development and implementation of world-class compliance, risk and legal policies for the business.

20 Requirements Minimum of 5+ years of successful tenure with a recognized law firm is essential. Detailed understanding of securities laws, derivatives and structured investments/transactions demonstrated through prior employment. Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a rapidly changing environment Strong negotiation, analytical and organizational skills are essential. 21 Human Resource Managers

22 Responsibilities Reports to the National Director Provides guidance and consultation to management in all aspects of the recruitment, selection, and compensation process Organize training for the facility managers and the assistants Develops and implements human resources strategies, programs, and initiatives Develop reporting procedures Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes. Conduct exit interviews to identify reasons for employee turnover.

23 Requirements Bachelor’s degree 3 years related experience Skills to re-engineer operations and procedures Ability to supervise and train employees Knowledge and understanding of state employment and labor laws, regulations, procedures, and standards Understanding operations of labor unions Ability in motivating, developing, and directing people as they work, identifying the best people for the job.

24 Facility Managers

25 Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations in the facility –Ensure smooth flow of facility operations –Motivate and lead employees –Monitor customer satisfaction –Ensure efficiency of the workers –Supervise local outsourcing Report monthly to national directors of the facility’s performance Take care of organizing the standardized image and service of the complex Provide coordination for the local ”service committees” Locally dealing with the outsourcing contracts Execute strategies created by the upper management Maintain and develop relations with local authorities

26 Requirements Language skills – fluency in Finnish and English, and preferably some skills in Russian or the Baltic languages Master’s degree, major in Business Administration or equivalent Minimum of 3 years of experience in leading at least middle-sized organization Good knowledge of Finnish and Baltic or Russian markets Expected to move to a new location every 2 years – ”Training in Finland, moving abroad”

27 Facility Assistants

28 Responsibilities Organizing locally that at least one BPC staff member is located in the complex 24/7 –Work performed in three sifts Overseeing the maintenance flaws and overall quality Overseeing the maintenance: snow removal, security, trash removal etc. Perform duties assigned by the facility manager –Varying duties Reporting daily to facility manager –About the grass-root level functioning of the complex Handling the day-to-day emergency situations Supervising Facility Trainees

29 Requirements At least Bachelor’s degree required Fluency in Finnish and English, some Baltic language or Russian skills appreciated Readiness to move abroad – high motivation –Enterprising and social Prior experience from the sector preferred Good promotion possibilities to Facility Manager position

30 Facility Trainees

31 Facility trainees Internships for college and graduate school students, at least Bachelor’s degree required Assisting Facility Assistant –Taking care of the day-to-day operations with Facility Assistants –Supervised by the Facility Assistants –Possibility to be promoted → Facility Manager Requirements -Enterprising -Social -Fluency in Finnish and English -Good problem solving skills
