2. WHAT THIS LESSON IS ABOUT: This lesson is about being intentionally involved in the lives of people around us, especially within the church family. HOW THIS LESSON CAN IMPACT YOUR LIFE: This lesson will help you intentionally relate in substantive ways to the people in your church family. WHY THIS LESSON IS IMPORTANT: We live in a fragmented, isolated society in which people are looking for quality relationships. Even Christians are often socially connected but relationally disconnected. God designed the church to provide, among other things, the connections that people need.

3. THE LIFE WORD In this Bible study, we have discovered several truths that will help us to grow in our Christian relationships as we do life together. 1. Believers need to be aware of and care about one another’s needs – and allow God to use them to meet needs as He directs. 2. Valuing our relationships with God and His people requires integrity. 3. Leaders and believers need to deal biblically with sin in the church. 4. Leadership involves meeting needs of others within the church. 5. Each of us should do his or her part in serving others to meet needs. 6. The church needs to organize wisely for both the welfare of its members and its witness to the world.
