2.  Namibia is on the west coast of southern Africa.  The Namib Desert is along the western edge.  The desert is very hot in the summer (January through March), over 100 degrees during the day.  Nights in the desert are cool. On the high plateau, nights could be freezing!

The Bible school is currently training 3 students to be church leaders. RELIGIONS: Christian (80-90%, at least half of which belong to the Lutheran church), traditional beliefs (10-20%). Many believe in and worship various spirits. Some mix these beliefs with Christian beliefs.
