Indianapolis Fall Headcount 7 199620002008201320202025 Change from 2013 to 2020 % Change from 2013 Change from 2013 to 2025 % Change from 2013 25,52626,11828,80928,80232,15035,0003,34811.6%6,19821.5% 2020 and 2025 are enrollment goals established in the Task Force Report Note: in the 17 year period between 1996 and 2013, Indianapolis increased 3,276 heads (+12.8%)

Fall 2014 Enrollment 4/21 IN20132014Change% Change Heads10,11310,4293163.1% Credits116,101122,6006,4995.6% IUPUC20132014Change% Change Heads4515287717.1% Credits4,7075,51981217.3% Combined20132014Change% Change Heads10,56410,9573933.7% Credits120,808128,1197,3116.1% 8 Last week Indianapolis was up 446 heads (+5.0%) and 7,885 credits (+7.7%).

Fall Growth SPEA is up 71 heads (2/3 undergrads spread across the sophomores  senior). SPEA was up only 13 heads for the Spring, due to a shortfall among graduate students, perhaps tied to executive ed contractual enrollments. EGTC is up 58 heads, including 36 juniors. The school finished up 43 heads at Spring census, with the bulk of the increase for that term in sophomores who appear to have progressed to junior standing. Kelley is up 54, continuing its growth from Spring. Philanthropic Studies is up 23 heads split between undergrads and grads. They were up 47 for the Spring. PETM is up 22 heads despite a drop of 6 graduate students at this point. PETM was up 26 heads in the Spring. Public Health is up 22 heads after a 55 head increase for the Spring. UCOL is up 127 heads. 48 of those are high school and non- degree. Freshmen are down 29 and sophomores up 122. Juniors are down 26 and seniors are up 12. 9

Possible Enrollment Timing Issues Herron is up 78 heads (46 at the senior level). Enrollment was in Spring suggesting an effort to get continuing students enrolled earlier. Medicine is up 25, 18 of which is at the undergrad level. The increase in undergrads looks like a timing of enrollments of (perhaps) newly certified students from UCOL (the school had 30 juniors two years ago at this point, 9 last year, and back to 25 this year). Journalism is up 20 with the increase spread across the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. The school was flat for Spring (+1 heads), so this may be an enrollment push. SHRS is down 44, most of which appears timing of enrollments of professional students (-45), though the school is also running behind 10 juniors at this point. Social Work is down 100 heads, all of which is at the graduate level (-102). As the school was up for Spring, this looks like an enrollment timing issue. 10

The adjustment was necessary due to the timing of Dental school enrollments. The above totals include enrollments in off-term distance programs offered by Kelley and Social Work that are counted in Summer I official totals (21 heads and 90 credits in 2013; 149 heads and 837 credits in 2014).
