Italy’s religion. Italy is united linguistically and religiously although it is diverse culturally.Roman Catholicism is the majority religion with 85 percent of native- born citizens Catholicism is by far the largest religious group in Italy.

Italy's symbol. Italy’s symbol is a description of the emblem of the Italian Republic. The white star with a red border in a cogwheel surrounded by olive and oak branches, and the cornu which is known as the Italian horn.
