2.  Learning Goal: In today’s lesson, we wll be learning how to display data using line graphs and how to describe trends Learning Goal

3.  Line graph: displays data that has changed over time  Example, this line graph shows the size of the population of a country over time What is a line graph??

4.  Horizontal Axes (x axis): in a line graph, the horizontal axis represents time  Vertical Axis (y axis): in a line graph, this represents the value which you wish to display Axes

5.  Titles  Title for horizontal axis  Title for vertical axis  Title for the graph (what does this graph show???)  Values  What values does the graph represent? Number of people?
