6. Courses At Mason High School, many courses are offered for students. Required subject areas are math, science, English, social studies. Students must take Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, and a fourth year of math during their senior year. Students must take 3 credits of science which includes Biology as a Freshman and a credit of Physics or Chemistry. All students must take 4 years of English, which includes a Senior Project. Social studies courses include World History and US History. Other courses or elective classes are art, choir, band, and shop classes.
