16 Surprisingly he had no teachings for art. He wrote his first book for amusement for himself. He has sold over one hundred millions copies of his books. Dr. Seuss was a perfectionist. He often worked on a book and threw away 99% of his material before he was satisfied. Seuss won three Academy Awards in his lifetime. BOOKS!!!

18 Life Facts Born June 8 1867 in Richland Center, Wisconsin. Oldest of 3 children. Studied at the University of Wisconsin. After college, he worked as a draftsman for Joseph Silsbee. In 1893 he formed his own architectural firm. Built the famous Taliesin in 1911. Taliesin

19 Descriptions Educated. He went to college and became an apprentice to learn drafting and architecture. Frank fell in love with a client’s wife. Together, they both ran away to Europe. Strong. His wife and children were killed and his house was burned down.
