2 Binomial Probability A Binomial Probability experiment has the following features.  There is a fixed number of repeated trials.  Each trial has two possible outcomes: success and failure. If p is the initial probability of success, then q is the initial probability of failure, where q = 1 – p.  The initial probability of a success is the same for each trial. The outcome of each trial has no effect on the outcome of any other trials. Suppose the probability of rain in a given 7-day period is.
